TimeRime new features
Recently several new features were added to the website. In this newsletter, we would like to inform you about some of these new features.
Co-editor: By inviting other people to be co-editor of your timeline, you can work on a timeline together with your friends, family or colleagues. And you will be able to invite people from all over the world, to combine their knowledge. In the edit mode, go to “Optional”. There you can invite co-editors.
Embed a timeline on your blog or website: Since the launch of TimeRime, you can embed a timeline in your blog or website. The embed-code will appear after clicking the <embed> button on the toolbar of the timeline. Now, this code is compatible with popular blogtools like Wordpress, TypePad and Blogger.com. You can also alter the size of the timeline.
Browsing through all items: To make browsing through all items of a timeline even more easy, “previous” and “next” buttons were added to each item and period. If you use these buttons, you will notice that the timeline will automatically follow your moves.
Related timelines: With this new feature, up to 5 timelines are suggested, which are in some way related to the timeline you opened. You will find the related timelines in the column on your right hand. Even more related timelines will become available if you click “more….” .
