Based primarily in London, United Kingdom, the University of London is a federal mega university made up of 31 affiliates: 19 separate university institutions, and 12 research institutes.

Last week they launched a new website and they are using TimeRime! For the visitors of the website it is possible to explore a timeline of the history of the University of London.

The Dutch school De Driehoek won the Dutch Microsoft Innovative Teachers Award by letting the students work with TimeRime in the classroom. The children of the school made a timeline of important people. All kids put their own important person in the timeline, like Columbus, Rembrandt and Michael Jackson.

The Dutch winner will be representing the Netherlands at the European Microsoft Innovative Teachers Award contest in Berlin. As the Dutch representation is using TimeRime, we are confident that they will also win the European contest.
