Although TimeRime has only been launched in July 2008, the number of TimeRimers is growing swiftly. In September, the number of registered users has been doubled. As a result, the amount of content and the quality of the content is growing. We thank you all for contributing to TimeRime. Your input makes TimeRime the place to visit if you are looking for interesting and fun information!

Early this month we introduced a new feature: invite a co-editor. Now, when making a timeline, you can invite other people to be your co-editor. In several ways we think this is a major improvement. Now you can work on a timeline together with your friends, family or colleagues. And you will be able to invite people from all over the world, to combine their knowledge.

If you want to invite a co-editor, first sign in. In “My TimeRime”, click “edit”. If you have not yet created a timeline before, you first have to click the button “Add timeline”. In the edit mode, go to “Optional”. There you will find the feature to invite co-editors.

On August 29, we introduced the new and improved homepage. It provides you with more information about timelines that are available on TimeRime, and has thumbnails to show what the timeline is about. Furthermore we introduced a sign-in on the frontpage, to allow the members to sign-in even quicker.

We are sure that you will like these improvements as much as we do.

Since the launch of TimeRime Beta on July 1 there were a lot of developments. For the TimeRime team the main development was that the reactions on the internet have been very positive. Visitors and blogs all over the world have complimented us for the design and usability. We also received reactions from our visitors that have helpt us to improve some functions of the website. The main improvement was that the workflow of creating timelines has been improved significantly.

Currently the TimeRime team is working hard to make a second release, that is scheduled for the end of August. In that release, visitors will find some major changes in the design of the homepage, and it will be even easier to edit timelines.
